Peggy Dougherty is an award-winning playwright whose work has had more than thirty-five productions. Her plays have been performed in New York City, San Diego, Los Angeles, Boca Raton, Houston, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto and elsewhere. Peggy is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America, Inc., The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, and Scripteasers, a script development group in San Diego.
Her book THE TEN MINUTE COGNITIVE WORKOUT, written under the pen name Peggy D. Snyder, Ph.D., won the 2013 San Diego Book Award in the category Best Self-Help.
Peggy’s soon-to-be-released novel, AGE MATTERS, is a satiric tale about a writer in Los Angeles who has to combat Hollywood ageism in order to sell her screenplay and avert financial disaster.
